Accordingly, the present invention relates to a method of detecting a gene statistically related to a TP53 mutation gene, a marker composition for predicting gastric cancer prognostication or drug reactivity selected by the same method, a composition and kit for predicting gastric cancer prognostication or drug reactivity including an agent for detecting the mutation thereof, and a method for predicting gastric cancer prognostication or drug reactivity using the marker composition. It is possible to quickly and accurately predict gastric cancer prognostication or drug reactivity and to determine an appropriate treatment direction according to a result of the predicted prognostication or drug reactivity, thereby contributing greatly to the reduction of mortality due to gastric cancer.
