The present invention relates to a method for a short-term seawater domestication of rainbow trout, comprising the following steps: a step for preparing rainbow trout of different growing stages in a water tank of a live fish carrier, and testing salinity tolerance of the rainbow trout; and a step for introducing seawater to increase the salinity in a short term up to a limit salinity which is confirmed not to cause the death of rainbow trout by the salinity test, and gradually increasing temperature and salinity through introducing the seawater until the salinity reaches 32 to 35 ‰ which is the salinity of seawater. As a result, the death occurring during the seawater domestication process for farming sea rainbow trout can be reduced; a size of an individual optimized for the seawater domestication can be suggested; and salinity adjustment using a live fish water tank and a temperature control method according to a water temperature difference between freshwater farm and seawater farm can be provided, thereby obtaining productivity enhancement based on economic feasibility.
