Provided in the present invention according to one aspect is a method of detecting glucose or an analogue thereof in the spleen or bone marrow to provide information necessary for the diagnosis of an infectious or inflammatory disease. Accordingly, the method can be used to selectively diagnose an infectious or inflammatory disease in a molecular imaging technique.
