Provided is a method for detecting glucose or analog thereof in a spleen or bone marrow for a diagnosis or a prognosis prediction of an autoimmune disease. The method comprises the steps of: administering detectable glucose or an analogue thereof to a subject; and detecting a signal of the glucose or the analogue thereof in a spleen or bone marrow. Accordingly, the method can be used to selectively diagnose an autoimmune disease and to predict prognosis for the autoimmune disease.
