The present invention relates to a feed composition comprising plant extracts for improving productivity and quality of eggs of layer chickens and a method using the same. More specifically, the present invention relates to the feed additive composition comprising a chestnut extract, a turmeric extract, and a Schisandra chinensis extract as active ingredients for improving the productivity and quality of the eggs of the layer chickens and the method using the same. According to the present invention, the feed composition improves the productivity of the eggs, Haugh units, egg shell thickness, and the like.
