The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing steamed rice wrapped in a lotus leaf to provide a healthy meal, particularly by using the lotus leaf with excellent antioxidative activity, kudzu root promoting digestion and a bay leaf making long time storage possible. To this end, the present invention provides the method for manufacturing the steamed rice wrapped in the lotus leaf, in which rice is primarily half-cooked by using kudzu root juice, which can be obtained by boiling or brewing the kudzu root as it is or powdered kudzu root having an diabetes prevention, a skin care and an antiaging function as well as a hangover care and a female menopause disease prevention function, as water used for cooking rice in a case of cooking rice; and wrapping the primarily half-cooked rice in the lotus leaf and steaming the half-cooked rice wrapped in the lotus leaf by a steaming device, thereby providing the rice wrapped in the lotus leaf which functions as various nourishing foods.
