Protein and Amino Acid Recovery from Organic Wastes by Using Thermal Hydrolysis and Membrane

摘要

A method for recovering proteins and amino acids from organic wastes is disclosed. After the organic waste is thermally hydrolyzed and dehydrated to remove solids, solids are removed and a resulting liquid reaction product containing the protein and the amino acid is filtered to remove remaining impurities and concentrate the resulting liquid reaction product, the proteins and amino acids are recovered. By using physical methods such as thermal hydrolysis and a separation film without using chemicals, high purity proteins and amino acids can be extracted safely from the organic wastes such as livestock manure.
