The present invention relates to an insulation coating composition for plating racks, and a production method thereof. More specifically, provided is an insulation coating composition for plating racks, which contains: plastisol containing a polyvinyl chloride resin and a plasticizer; and an inorganic nanoparticle dispersed in the plastisol and surface-modified by a coupling agent having a hydroxyl group and an amine group. The polyvinyl chloride resin and the inorganic nanoparticle are bonded by the coupling agent.
