Provided are a method and a system, which provide a function which is customized to a need of a user while realizing ultra-lightweight, super-simple, and low cost internet of things (IoT) devices. The present invention relates to a method and a system for controlling an operation of a wearable device, and a device thereof. The method with which the device executes an application program comprises the following steps of: selecting a factor for using an external processor if an execution command of a specific application program is input; transmitting a factor required for using the external processor; and receiving a processing result which is processed by the external processor.
