The present invention relates to a positive electrode active material for a Zn-Ni flow secondary battery, and to a positive electrode material, a positive electrode and a Zn-Ni flow secondary battery comprising the same, and more specifically, to a technique for improving the conductivity of the positive electrode active material by modifying the surface of Ni(OH)_2, the positive electrode active material. As the positive electrode active material for the Zn-Ni flow battery, provided is the Zn-Ni flow battery including a metal coating layer made of a conductive metal on the surface of a metal compound powder. The electroless plating of Ni(OH)_2 particles on the surface of the Ni(OH)_2 particles improves the conductivity of the Ni(OH)_2 particles and a positive electrode material can be formed without the addition of a conductive material such as graphite, thereby inhibiting a separation phenomenon by swelling of carbon-based conductive materials and improving the lifetime of a long-term charge-discharge cycle.
