IT Network management method and system for remote wakeup of multiple IT devices

According to the present invention, when an external node outside a subnet is linked with N internal nodes within the subnet on an IP network, the external node transmits a one-time wakeup request to one terminal instead of transmitting a wakeup request to each of the internal nodes in order to remotely wake up an internal node terminal which is in a standby state from the external node, thereby waking up all terminals which are internal nodes in the standby state. A network management method and system of the present invention comprises a procedure and means for waking up a terminal by allowing a type 1 restart terminal to perform a type 1 restart when a wakeup request for the type 1 restart terminal is transmitted from the outside of a subnet; and a procedure and means for allowing a type 2 restart terminal to perform a type 2 restart by receiving a broadcast message when the woken up type 1 restart terminal broadcasts a wakeup restart request in the subnet.
