The present invention relates to a composition for saccharification of cellulosic biomass and to a method for enhancing a saccharification rate using the same, in which cellulase and hemicellulase are used as saccharification enzymes for hydrothermally pretreated cellulosic biomass, and polyethylene glycol is used as an adjuvant to provide an effect of improving the saccharification rate of lignocellulose.
