The present invention relates to a method to estimate structural performance based on the final limit state of a reinforcement plate structure, to which a uniaxial compressive load is applied, by using an experience formula. According to the present invention, the estimation method comprises a step (a) of extracting basic data including a specification of a reinforcement plate element used for a vessel or an offshore structure, and calculating a plate aspect ratio and a pillar aspect ratio of the reinforcement plate element; a step (b) of checking a probability distribution of the calculated plate and pillar aspect ratios, and extracting a probability density function; a step (c) of using the probability density function to extract a scenario for the final compressive strength analysis; a step (d) of numerically analyzing the final compressive strength with respect to the extracted scenario; a step (e) of deriving a diagram of the plate and pillar aspect ratios with respect to the numerically analyzed final compressive strength; and a step (f) of deriving the final experience formula through three-dimensional (3D) and 2D analyses with respect to the derived diagram. The present invention has remarkably enhanced accuracy compared with a traditional method to estimate structural performance.
