METHOD FOR PRODUCING FAST DISSOLVING NANOFIBER MAT FORMULATIONS FOR ORALLY ADMINISTRATING HERBAL MEDICINE EXTRACT USING ELECTROSPINNING

The present invention provides a method for producing fast dissolving nanofiber mat formulations for orally administrating a herbal medicine extract, which comprises the following steps: (a) mixing a herbal extract, a polyvinyl alcohol, and a polyethylene glycol-vinylcaprolactam-vinyl acetate grafted copolymer (soluplus) to obtain a mixture; and (b) producing the mixture obtained in the step (a) as a nanofiber mat formulation by electrospinning. The fast dissolving nanofiber mat formulations produced by the method showed fast (within 3 minutes) dissolving properties, and thus can be used as fast dissolving mat formulations for oral cancer treatment which can be ingested without a drink in the mouth.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2018
