The present invention relates to a kit for checking exposure to fine dust under 2.5 micrometers (PM 2.5) and a method for checking expression of messenger RNA (mRNA) for fine dust under 2.5 micrometers using the kit which are useful in monitoring of fine dust under 2.5 micrometers and determining risks thereof, and are used to identify a toxic action mechanism caused by PM 2.5. According to the present invention, the kit for checking exposure to fine dust under 2.5 micrometers (PM 2.5) and the method for checking expression of messenger RNA (mRNA) for fine dust under 2.5 micrometers using the kit are useful in monitoring and determining risks of PM 2.5 by using genes related to inflammation as a biomarker wherein the genes are expressed in common by exposure to two kinds of fine dust under 2.5 micrometers having different collecting points. In addition, the present invention is able to be used to identify a toxic action mechanism caused by PM 2.5. The present invention comprises a microarray chip where mRNAs are integrated.
