The present invention relates to an atmospheric-pressure sintering method of an Al_2O_3-SiC composite. The atmospheric-pressure sintering method of an Al_2O_3-SiC composite according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises the steps of: preparing slurry by mixing Al_2O_3 powder, SiC powder, and a solvent; solidifying the slurry; molding the solidified slurry and performing a first sintering process to manufacture a first sintered body; impregnating the first sintered body with a sintering aid in a liquid phase; performing a second sintering process to sinter the first sintered body impregnated with the sintering aid at atmospheric pressure.
