CONCRETE DAM DRILLING APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR DRILLING CONCRETE DAM VERTICALLY

Disclosed are a concrete dam drilling apparatus for repairing leakage of a concrete dam and a method for vertically drilling a concrete dam. The method for vertically drilling a concrete dam comprises: a step of drilling a vertical hole in a downward direction at a vertical joint portion of an upper portion of the concrete dam using a drilling apparatus; and a step of expanding the vertical hole by inserting a first core bit into the vertical hole, wherein the drilling apparatus comprises: a rotating drill rod; a second core bit; and a bending suppression portion connected between the drill rod and the second core bit, and engaged with the vertical joint portion during drilling to suppress bending of the drill rod.
