The present invention relates to red pepper paste with enhanced storability and a method for manufacturing the same, and more particularly, to balloon flower red pepper paste having excellent storing stability in which mold does not grow by adding natural-fermented balloon flower extract and a method for manufacturing the same. The balloon flower red pepper manufactured according to the method for manufacturing red pepper paste of the present invention is excellent in stability as a preserved food since no mold growth at all while being stored at a room temperature for a long time, and has an alleviating effect for bronchial diseases by adding the balloon flower components. Therefore, the paste of the present invention is a very useful invention for food industries.
