The present invention relates to a food composition and cosmetic composition for improving skin wrinkles containing a roasted Schizandra chinensis extract. Since the composition of the present invention inhibits an activity of the skin wrinkle inducing protein (Matrix metalloproteinase-1, MMP-1) and reduces degradation of collagen, the composition exhibits an excellent effect on maintaining elasticity of skin tissue and preventing wrinkle formation.
