PCR Method and kit for detecting bacteria causing salmonella infection using real-time PCR

The present invention provides an examining kit and a method for the same. The examining kit is applied with a marker checking not only Salmonella typhimurium serotype but also Salmonella by including Salmonella gallinarum and Salmonella pullorum indicating pathogenicity for birds. So, the examining kit can detect bacteria causing Salmonella infection at the same time. According to the present invention, the examining kit can rapidly and accurately detect not only the Salmonella gallinarum which is the bacteria responsible for fowl typhoid and Salmonella pullorum which is the bacteria which causes pullorum disease but also Salmonella typhimurium which causes food poisoning to persons at high specificity and high sensitivity based on quantification data using a real-time PCR. So, the examining kit helps build effective preventive measures by quickly identifying the bacteria responsible for food poisoning in humans and bird deaths.
