The present invention relates to an anion exchange material, prepared by a photo-curing reaction of a polymer-type crosslinking agent comprising an ion exchange group, and a method for preparing the same. More specifically, the method for preparing an anion exchange material comprises: a halogenated polymer manufacturing step of introducing a halogen element into a polymer chain; a photo-curing reaction group introducing step of making the halogenated polymer and an acrylic compound having a pyridyl group, a carbazolyl group, an imidazolyl group or a tertiary amine group; and a photo-curing step of photo-curing the polymer into which the photo-curing reaction group has been introduced by irradiating the polymer with UV rays. According to the present invention, the crosslinking-type anion exchange material, which is inexpensive, has excellent physical properties, and is based on an engineering resin, can be developed by introducing the acrylic compound, having a functional group capable of becoming an anion exchange group, into a polymer by reaction with a halogen group. The anion exchange material having a crosslinking structure can be prepared in an easy manner by a photo-curing reaction.
