PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a granular polymer that is used for an ion-exchange resin and a synthetic adsorbent and suppresses remaining of impurities and generation of decomposed matters.;SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing a granular polymer includes: a first step in which polymerization is performed not by a seed polymerization method, and at least a part of the polymerization reaction is performed at a temperature of 100°C or higher; and a second step in which the polymerization reaction is performed at a temperature of 115°C or higher after the first step, wherein a conversion ratio of a raw material monomer before raising the temperature to 100°C is 70% or more, and an oxygen amount in the polymerization reaction system in the respective steps is 5 ppm or less in terms of a value of the ratio to the monomer.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
