New marliolide derivatives and composition the same for prevent or treat chronic anti-flammatory diseases

The present invention relates to a marliolide derivative represented by chemical formula 1, a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, and a composition for preventing and treating a chronic inflammatory disease containing the same as an active ingredient. The marliolide derivative represented by chemical formula 1 of the present invention increase expression of hemeoxygenase-1 (HO-1) through activation of nuclear factor erythroid 2-related factor-2 (NRF2) and suppresses expression of inflammatory cytokines and various inflammatory factors, thereby being easily used as a therapeutic agent for a chronic inflammatory disease or a health functional food additive.
