The present invention relates to a roadway lighting apparatus which minimizes electricity consumption by irradiating light in a progress direction of a vehicle in a wayside or a median strip of a roadway, improves visibility with respect to a road surface and an obstacle, is easily installed, and significantly reduces installation costs. According to the present invention, a roadway lighting module comprises: a light source unit in which a light emitting device emitting light is installed; a reflection unit of which a reflection surface is formed in the shape of an ellipsoid to reflect the light emitted by the light emitting device forward; and a light distribution lens arranged in the front of the reflection unit to refract the light reflected by the reflection unit, and formed for a plurality of convex refractive areas to protrude outwards not to generate a cusp and a break point through the whole inside of a valid refractive area.
