The present invention relates to a method for treating bamboo sheath for painting and a bamboo sheath painting using the same. More particularly, the present invention relates to a method for treating bamboo sheath so as to be able to draw paintings with bamboo sheath that is bark of bamboo shoots, and to a bamboo sheath painting using same. The method for treating bamboo sheath of the present invention comprises: a smoothing step of flattening the bamboo sheath separated from bamboo; and a surface enhancement step of enhancing the surface of the bamboo sheath so that paints brushed can be fixed on the surface of the bamboo sheath.
