The rubber composition for a tire innerliner comprises 100 parts by weight of a halogenated butyl rubber, 0.5 to 8 parts by weight of an imidazole derivative, and 0.5 to 8 parts by weight of a carbon black 45 to 65 parts by weight, and the halogenated butyl rubber and the imidazole derivative are contained in the form of an ionomer, whereby a tire having improved fatigue resistance and crack resistance without lowering of modulus can be provided.
