The method includes sample analysis to determine the population of CD4 + T-lymphocytes, featuring those that phenotyping of lymphocytes is made using labelled with fluorescent labels monoclonal antibodies to CD4, wherein the content of CD4 + cells, expressed in percentage (%) respect of lymphocytes, more than 39.5% indicates a high risk of progression of atherosclerosis.;EFFECT: use of this method allows to identify patients with high risk of progression of atherosclerosis, which allows timely correction of therapy in this category of patients.;2 ex, 1 tbl, 1 dwg
