FIELD: medicine.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to method for correcting the body of a rat to effects of cold and heat. Method is characterized in that rats are placed daily in climatic chamber for 28 days in morning, creating a constant cooling regime -15 °C or heating +40 °C for 3 or 5 hours respectively. In this case, before placing the rat in a climatic chamber, it is fed with a mixture consisting of crushed leaves, stems, flowers, unripe fruits, rhizomes of St. John's wort, and the roots of Rhodiola rosea, taken in a ratio of 1:1, followed by sterilization of the mass in the autoclave for 30 minutes. Mixture is administered at a dose of 150–300 mg/kg of animal weight.;EFFECT: use of the invention allows expanding the range of means for correcting oxidative stress in conditions of cold and thermal loads on a warm-blooded organism.;1 cl, 2 tbl
