FIELD: woodworking industry.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the woodworking industry, namely to the wood processing equipment, and can be used in double panel saws. Double panel saw comprises stand (1) with work table (2) provided with a longitudinal slot extending therethrough. On the frame there are guides (3). In the guides with the possibility of reciprocating movement relative to the working table, there is a saw support with saw blades and a drive. Saw support of the machine is made in the form of a movable carriage (4) provided with axis (5), on which cutting unit (6) is located. Axis of the cutting unit is connected by a drive with a rotary mechanism that controls the change in the position of the cutting unit in a vertical plane relative to the surface of the working table. Cutting unit is provided with two symmetrically arranged saw blades (8, 9) mounted on two axes (10, 11) with the possibility of rotation in one vertical plane towards each other. Each axis of the two saw blades is provided with its drive in the form of belt drive (12, 13) connected to electric motor (14, 15).;EFFECT: improves the quality of processing blanks.;1 cl, 1 dwg
