FIELD: radar ranging.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of radar, in particular to methods for detecting and estimating the parameters of the motion of low-altitude objects in spaced radiolocation. This result is achieved due to the fact that the receiving positions are placed in an area that is illuminated by the signal of the transmitting position that has passed through the ionosphere, and where it is necessary to detect these target classes. Receiving positions have wide antenna directivity patterns, the reception of reflected signals is carried out within the line of sight. When targets are detected and motion parameters are estimated, information on the spectral characteristics of the reflected signals (frequency deviation and Doppler frequency) and the transition time of the beat frequency of this signal through zero is used. Proposed method allows to exceed the potential for detecting low-altitude and low-visibility objects by approaching the receiving positions to the required control area, using the luminous detection method, at which the effective scattering surface of the target is maximal, increasing the coherent accumulation time of the useful signal due to the use of the external coherence mode and the matched filtering in the processing of the received signals.;EFFECT: achieved technical result is increased probability of detection and accuracy of the determination of the parameters of motion of low-altitude objects due to the creation of a “clear” radar complex on the basis of the transmitting position of the ionospheric radar station and located on a small base orthogonal to the line of sight, the transmitting position is the receiving position of two receiving positions.;1 cl, 8 dwg, 1 tbl
