Local and movement conditions estimating method for observed object i.e. vehicle, involves determining distance, detecting shifting of portion of object, and estimating parameter of local and movement condition
The method involves determining the distance to an object. The shifting of the portion of the object in the image of a camera is detected based on the evaluation by Kalman filters. The parameter of the local and movement condition is estimated with the consideration of a movement model of the observed object, where the estimated parameter is greed rate or transverse speed.
