A connection module 3 for connecting a charging device 4 to an electric vehicle 1 is proposed, having a vehicle interface 8 for connection to the vehicle 1, with a charging interface 9 for connection to the charging device 4, with a control device 12 for controlling the connection module 3, and with an energy store 11 and an energy management device 13, wherein the control device 12 is designed to control the energy management device 13 in such a way that a recharging process for the vehicle 1 using the energy store 11 is performed via the charge interface 9.
