A virtual object recognition - integration means and a virtual object recognition - integration method is provided, which are capable of detection for integrating elements which, by means of a respective plurality of sensors are detected, while taking into account an imprecision of an identification of objects. A linking relationship between measurement data and previous object data is determined on the basis of a type of object and a good certainty for each type of object candidates contained in measurement data which, for each of the plurality of sensors have been generated, and an object type and a good certainty for each type of object candidates contained in the previous object data.
