The invention puts forward a windscreen wiper (10) of main longitudinal orientation comprising: a connecting element (12) of the wiper (10) with a driving arm; a longitudinal support frame (14) which is connected to the connecting element (12) and which comprises an upper body (22) with a longitudinal main axis and a bottom device (26) supporting a wiper blade (18); and at least one structural element (16) in the form of a longitudinal strip which is mounted in the upper body (22). The windscreen wiper is characterized in that the mounting (14) is glued or welded to the structural element (16) and/or the connecting element (12).
