The present invention relates to a method for preparing a spray-dried composition comprising an Acerola fruit extract and hydrolyzed collagen, the method comprising the steps of mixing a liquid Acerola fruit extract and a fluid comprising hydrolyzed collagen and spray-drying the mixture. Further, the invention also relates to a spray-dried composition prepared by this method, such as a composition comprising (a) hydrolyzed collagen; and (b) Acerola fruit extract comprising vitamin C and at least 1 other compound from Acerola fruit; wherein the composition comprises preferably no spray-drying carrier other than hydrolyzed collagen, in particular no maltodextrine, oxidized starch or lactose.
