Method for preparing a spray-dried composition comprising an acerola fruit extract and hydrolyzed collagen, the method comprising the steps of: (a) mixing a liquid acerola fruit extract obtained by pressing an acerola fruit and a fluid that comprises cartilage derived material comprising hydrolyzed type II collagen and at least 5% by weight of the fluid chondroitin sulfate, (b) spray drying the mixture.
