The invention relates to a rectifier (10) for a thermodynamic absorption machine, which includes an inlet (E) which supplies the rectifier (1) with a two-phase input fluid (F1), having a liquid phase (F2) and a gas phase (F3) and formed by mixing a refrigerant and an absorbent. Said rectifier further includes: a first separator (11), separating the liquid phase (F2) from the gas phase (F3) of the input fluid (F1); a condenser (12) condensing a fraction (F5) of the gas phase (F3) separated by the first separator (11); a second separator (13) separating the fraction (F5) condensed by the condenser (12) from a remaining fraction (F6) which is not condensed by the condenser (12); and a connection device (20) connecting the first and second separators (11, 13) and configured such as to act as a siphon for the liquid phase (F2) that is separated by the first separator (11), and for the condensed fraction (F5) that is separated by the second separator (13).
