PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adhesion layer used for a heat-assisted magnetic recording medium that maintains an amorphous structure even after heating to 600-700°C, that is, has high crystallization temperature and also has higher heat conductivity than conventional CrTi alloy, and a spattering target for forming the adhesion layer of the heat-assisted magnetic recording medium for forming the adhesion layer.;SOLUTION: The present inventions are an adhesion layer for a heat-assisted magnetic recording medium, a composition formula in atom ratio of which is represented by Mo100-X-YNiXNbY, 30X40, 0≤Y≤7 and the remainder is composed of inevitable impurities and which has an amorphous structure, and a spattering target for forming the adhesion layer of the heat-assisted magnetic recording medium, a composition formula in atom ratio for forming the adhesion layer of which is represented by Mo100-X-YNiXNbY, 30X40, 0≤Y≤7 and the remainder is composed of inevitable impurities.;SELECTED DRAWING: None;COPYRIGHT: (C)2019,JPO&INPIT
