PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide decontamination effect evaluation method capable of simply evaluating decontamination effects, and decontamination method.;SOLUTION: The method for evaluating decontamination effects by decontamination of a decontamination object, includes: a step STEP1 of mixing a tracer formed by simulating a radioactive material, with a base material to make a simulated contamination material; a step of acquiring an initial concentration of the tracer included in the simulated contamination material; a step STEP2 of providing the simulated contamination material on a surface layer of a prescribed structure to make a simulated decontamination object; a step STEP3 of decontaminating the simulated decontamination object; a step STEP4, 5 of collecting specimens from the simulated decontamination object after the decontamination and measuring the concentration of the tracer included in the specimens; and a step STEP6 of evaluating the decontamination effects on the basis of a difference between the concentration of the tracer included in the specimens and the initial concentration of the tracer included in the simulated contamination material, or a ratio thereof.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1;COPYRIGHT: (C)2019,JPO&INPIT
