PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tubular body for an infrared light fixing device that prevents a reduction in transmittance of infrared light after a long-time rotation compared with a case where the most inner surface of the tubular body is a substrate.;SOLUTION: A tubular body for an infrared light fixing device comprises: a tubular substrate; an elastic layer that is provided on the outer peripheral surface of the substrate; a release layer that is provided on the outer peripheral surface of the elastic layer; and a hard layer that is provided on the inner peripheral surface of the substrate as the innermost layer. The Vickers hardness of the inner peripheral surface is 200 HV or more and 800 HV or less; the tubular body has transmittance for infrared light in a wavelength region being at least part of an infrared region.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1;COPYRIGHT: (C)2019,JPO&INPIT
