To provide a solid-liquid separation device where the blockage of the solid component of a treatment object is suppressed and the solid component of the treatment object having a low water content can be continuously discharged while suppressing the lengthening of a time required for solid-liquid separation treatment even when the load degree of a laminated rotary filtration body is large.SOLUTION: A solid-liquid separation device 100 comprises: a rotary shaft 31; a laminated rotary filtration body 3 including a plurality of filtering pieces laminated along the rotary shaft 31 and being formed with a filtration groove S between the filtering pieces; a motor 2 rotating and driving the rotary shaft 31; an inverter 22 detecting the load degree of the laminated rotary filtration body 3; and a controlling unit 8 controlling the rotation number of the laminated rotary filtration body 3.
