To provide a milk protein beverage that contains a protein and HMB-Ca and in which a thick feeling or astringency in flavor is not felt even at high concentrations of protein, the unfavorable flavor of HMB-Ca is not felt, there is a moderate refreshment feeling, and the viscosity is not high.SOLUTION: In order to solve the problem, a milk protein beverage containing a denatured milk whey protein (A) whose permeability in 0.1 mass% aqueous suspension is 15% or less and a HMB-Ca (B), wherein the content of denatured milk whey protein (A) is 2 to 15 mass%, the content of HMB-Ca (B) is 0.1 to 1.5 mass%, and the pH is 3.2 to 5.5, is provided.SELECTED DRAWING: None
