To produce low sodium edible salt without adding food additives.SOLUTION: A method for producing low sodium edible salt is provided that comprises: obtaining concentrated seawater by heating, evaporating and concentrating raw seawater; controlling the suspension amount of sodium chloride crystals suspended in the concentrated seawater; stopping the heating of the concentrated seawater to cool the concentrated seawater; precipitating potassium chloride crystals from the cooled concentrated seawater; and collecting the low sodium chloride crystals edible salt obtained as a mixture of precipitated potassium chloride crystals and suspended sodium chloride crystals.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
