To precisely detect a mobile body that may be an obstacle for travel of a vehicle.SOLUTION: A mobile body detection method for detecting an object mobile body that may be an obstacle for travel of an object vehicle by at least one computer: acquires (S301) a photographic image generated by a shot by a camera mounted on the object vehicle; and detects (S302) the object mobile body in the photographic image by acquiring type information and positional information of the mobile body in the photographic image that is output by inputting the photographic image into a recognition model for recognizing the mobile body in an image in which the mobile body is shot, type information for showing a type of the mobile body, and positional information showing a position where the mobile body exists from among a plurality of positions including a sidewalk and a roadway.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 16
