To perform lipid structure analysis including specification of the position of an unsaturated linkage part of lipid, stably and exactly, without performing troublesome derivatization.SOLUTION: After causing hydrogen abstraction reaction by irradiating ions derived from a lipid specimen captured in an ion trap with hydrogen radicals (S1, S2), precursor ion separation is performed (S3), and precursor ions are dissociated by low energy collision induction dissociation (S4). Product ions thus generated are subjected to mass spectrometric analysis thus creating product ion spectra (S5, S6). Since hydrogen relocation does not occur by dissociation of the procedure mentioned above, unsaturated linkage part can be specified by searching a peak pair having a mass difference of +12Da, characteristic in the unsaturated linkage part on the product ion spectra (S7, S8).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
