PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protective structure for a projected corner of a wall and a partition that allows a compact protective member for a projected corner to be engaged securely, may be installed readily, and may be applied to wall substrates worked by a wide variety of construction methods.SOLUTION: A protective structure for a projected corner includes: a protective member (8) for a projected corner; a first engaging surface (10c) formed on a first wall material (10), the engaging surface being inclined toward a first wall surface (4a) from an edge surface (10a) on the projected corner side of the first wall material (10); a second engaging surface (11c) formed on a second wall material (11), the engaging surface being inclined toward a second wall surface (6a) from an edge surface (11a) on the projected corner side of the second wall material (11); a first engaging part (8e) formed on a side edge part (8a) on one side of the protective member (8) for the projected corner, the engaging part being engaged with the first engaging surface (10c); and a second engaging part (8f) formed on a side edge part (8b) on the other side of the protective member (8) for the projected corner, the engaging part being engaged with the second engaging surface (11c).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
