PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tuning fork piezoelectric piece capable of enhancing the vibration characteristics while enhancing the mountability.SOLUTION: A tuning fork crystal piece 15 has a base 21, a pair of vibration arms 23, a support arm 33 and a protrusion 35. The base 21 has a pair of principal surfaces 25 facing each other and a front face 27, a rear face 29 and a pair of side faces 31 connecting the pair of principal surfaces 25. The pair of vibration arms 23 extend forward from the front face 27, and are parallel with each other, in the plan view of the principal surface 25. The support arm 33 extends from the first side face 31A and then bends before extending forward. The protrusion 35 protrudes from the second side face 31B, and is shorter than the support arm 33. A groove 37 is formed in the principal surface 25 and at least one face of the protrusion 35 continuous to the principal surface 25.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
