PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rain-proof tool for work and a mounting method for the rain-proof tool for work that make it possible to secure safety of a worker in a spatially wide protection range without damaging work efficiency of hot line work.SOLUTION: A mounting method for a rain-proof tool for work hooks winding start parts of binds 61A, 61B on bind protrusions 21a, 21b, 22a, 22b of a body 2, before winding spiral parts of the binds 61A, 61B onto a ground wire 71 to mount the body 2 on the ground wire 71; fits tips on the fitting side of skeleton members 3A to 3F to fitting protrusions 23 on side peripheral surfaces of the body 2 to mount the skeleton members 3A to 3F on the body 2; and fits a previously opened hole 51 of a sheet part 5 into a sheet protrusion 31 integrally formed on each of top surfaces of the plurality of skeleton members 3A to 3F or the body 2, before inserting a pin 31b into a pin hole 31a of the sheet protrusion 31 to stretch the sheet part 5.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
