PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protein expression method capable of expressing protein at relatively low temperature in a thermophile whose optimum proliferation temperature is 50°C or more.;SOLUTION: There is provided a protein expression method for expressing protein in thermophile, comprising: a first step for introducing a gene construction body including a promotor formed of any base sequence selected from a group formed of (a)-(c): (a) a base sequence described in any of sequence numbers 1-9; (b) a base sequence having promotor activity, being described in any of sequence numbers 1-9, one or plural bases are substituted, deleted, inserted and/or added; (c) a base sequence derived from a Geobacillus germ, having promotor activity, and being a base sequence having 70% or more of sequence identity to any base sequence described in any of sequence numbers 1-9, and DNA for coding protein connected to the promotor so as to express, to thermophile for forming a transformant whose optimum proliferation temperature is 50°C or more: a second step for culturing the transformant at culture temperature of 50°C or more, for proliferation of the transformant; and a third step for, after the second step, changing the culture temperature to temperature equal to or less than 50°C and lower than the culture temperature in the second step by 10°C or more, for expressing the protein.;SELECTED DRAWING: None;COPYRIGHT: (C)2019,JPO&INPIT
