To provide a device that is available in the fishing as the leisure in a simple configuration, and can repel feeding damage in the fishing of fishes of tunas, etc.SOLUTION: The device for repelling a creature bringing human damage or feeding damage such as sharks inhabiting underwater includes: a tube-shaped member 1 comprising materials having visco-elasticity; a power supply 2 provided in a portion of the tube-shaped member 1, or being built therein; electrodes provided in a portion or all of an outer face of the tube-shaped member 1; a string-like member having a counter electrode 4 extending from the tube-shaped member 1; a switch for switching on/off energization from the power supply 2 for applying a voltage between the electrodes; and a joint member 3 for linking the tube-shaped member 1 in the shape of a ring. The device is casted in the water and applying the voltage between the electrodes, and thereby repels the creature bringing the human damage or the feeding damage such as sharks inhabiting the underwater.
